i decided to try and learn a bit of editing… so i went and got myself the vegas pro about 2 months ago and just dived in.
just to let you understand better, 2 months ago i didn’t even know what rendering was. i just had a vague idea of what editing is.
since then i learned what rendering was and how to do it, how to add pics and resize them, how to add text in different ways and how to cut portions or copy them and a bit more.

i am sure there are many guides out there but i don’t know the names i need to search for, so i can’t find them.
i know how to edit a pic and reshape it and i also used that to cover parts of the screen i don’t want others to see in the final result.
but it seems a bit too much for what i need.

i am looking for a way to cover specific parts of the video at specific times. as well as cover specific words or sentences or boxes on screen.
or maybe put a black cover on someones face to blur them. i have a feeling that adding a circle pic and resizing it is not the best way to approach this.

if someone can help, or redirect me to a place that talks about this, or even tell me what is the names of the subjects i am looking for so i can search about it myself it would help a lot.

    Hi Tomer,

Do a Youtube search for “witness protection using Vegas Pro”, the results should help you get started.

    Best Regards……George
