  Missing audio plugins [solved]

  Hi everyone,

  I recently changed my operating system to boot from a new ssd, and I got an error message when loading saying that some plugins are not installed on my system.

  I was missing volume, track noise gate, track eq and compressor, but no others.

  Even with a reinstall, these plugins didn’t reappear and I couldn’t use them in my project.

  I couldn’t find any information on this issue, so when I solved it I figured I would leave a post here should anyone have this error in the future.

  I fixed this by downloading the latest windows c++ redistributable.
  I still get the error message loading into old projects, however the plugins have reappeared so it’s easy enough to just re-add them.

  I hope this helps someone in the future.
