Crackling audio when adding effects
Hi. So whenever I am editing a video and add an effect to the audio, I get crackling as if its clipping. This mainly happens with the “Vibrato” effect which I love to use a lot. It even happens when the volume is not in the red perimeters and is turned down and I believe it doesn’t fix after rendering either. If anyone knows what it might be then help would be greatly appreciated! Also it’s not my headphones or speakers, the source video plays fine without any crackling.

I don’t know if that worked. I make funny edits on videos if you’re wondering. But do you hear that crackling at the start? I does not subside when I turn all volumes down, master or the actually source track volume. Maybe its the actual vibrato effect thats damaged and i need to get a third party one… idk.

You sent a 3 sec 12 frame clip. At what point exactly is it crackling ?
I’ve enlarged the audio waveform in Audacity and can’t see even a small ripple.
I suspect it may be related to your audio card or on-board audio processor.
