Black is rendered strangely
I’m using Vegas Pro 14, and as soon as I render a pretty dark video, the black color is somewhat negative.
This is how the first frame of the video looks in Vegas.
This instead is the first rendered frame in VLC. The black tree became almost gray.

Can you post MediaInfo on your original file and also your render settings.
If you don’t have Mediainfo, here’s the download link.

Sorry, seems like a VLC problem. Colors are right if watching the video with Win10 app.

I myself never trust VLC for true colours. If it’s important having the right colors, blacks and white levels, make sure you have a proper monitor and that said monitor is properly set to reproduce them as they should. Black levels are especially prone to creating problems.
