What color space am I working in?
This is a bit embarrassing to admit. It’s a little easier in photoshop for me to understand what color space I’m in and work appropriately. However, I’ve not a clue in Vegas.
I notice they added some settings under Project Properties. However, I honestly, don’t fully understand each space… How many bits are in each one, how one maps to the other and so forth. I see I can set the project to 32 bit, which I typically do. Just to ensure I’ve enough resolution to handle any edits and media imported.
However, when I output it becomes very confusing. I think I’m starting to see issues with information being dropped. Some of my videos have no issue in timeline playback but then are almost missing color (glitches and flickers in the rendered video).
Long story short. Are there good tutorials on video color space?? Vegas doesn’t have any warnings I could set does it?
