• Adobe After Effects

  Need help with laptop

  Hi,

  I’m gonna replace my old desktop with a laptop and have a limited budget (about $1000). I was wondering if this can handle some minor AE and Cinema 4D work:

  ASUS K70IO 17.3″

  Processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4300
  RAM: 4096 Mb
  Graphics card: nVidia GeForce GT120M, 1024Mt VRAM

  Any help will be appreciated.

  I don’t know about Cinema 4D, but that seems like enough RAM and a good enough processor to do basic After Effects work. (It’s pretty similar to the laptop that I used for a lot of AFter Effects work until four months ago.) Just don’t expect to use Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing.
