    Hi
Does anyone know what Magix is doing. I have been using Vegas Pro 14 (previously 12 for 7 years)
    for past 14 months.
Used Vegas 14 2 days ago and all was fine. Tried to get program up yesterday box appears – must register and authorise your software with an auto click to complete. Of course when I click the message is ” this software is allocated to another user”. Of course it is it’s ME!!!
As it would not allow me to login to send a ticket I phoned the helpline to be told ‘we are having major issues with the site and cannot tell you when it will be fixed’. As suggested by the lady who answered I emailed them for info as to how I can get back my software. No reply to date but in fairness it is early days.
I had expected creative cow to be deluged with similar comments but it doesn’t appear to be so. I’d be very grateful if anyone can advise how I can get back the paid for software that was working fine just 2 days ago.
Fingers crossed and thank you for reading this.

I bought 20 seats of Vegas 14 for my college. We’d been using Vegas since v.9. 14 wouldn’t work at all, and Magix gave us free upgrade to 15. Everything worked fine. I think 14 was a disaster, and you should get a free upgrade.

Nothing more sinister than a Berlin construction team hit an Internet cable. No ETA of when. Hey ho. My source? Madison HQ.

When you first installed the software, did the registration and authorization went thru smoothly before you
    started using it?

    Hi Steve
Yes its been fine for 14 months and was working only 2 days prior to going off line. Have been taking to support but not resolved as yet. I’m not getting good vibes about Vegas 14 form the forum. but is it worth persevering with 15 as for me Magix don’t seem to have a handle on that which they purchased.
Creative Cow so helpful as always.
    Thanks Brian Langtry

Well then, the fault is indeed their’s. They need to rectify this issue you are having promptly.
You tried doing a complete re-installation of Vegas?
