So i’ve been editing a trailer for my class sometime now and this happened

I’m using Sony Vegas 13 for the making
As you can see, the footages on video track are all blank, only 1 is showing
Even though all of them are linked to the right directories
This leads to the black screen preview

It doesn’t stop there, when i preview the video, it freezes
Sometime it previews near a second, i can only hear the audio, then it freezes again!

Here are solutions i’ve put my hands on:
    – Check “FX Bypassed” under “Split Screen View”
    – Check / Uncheck “Close media files when not the active application” under the “General” tab in Preference
    – Turn on / off “GPU accleration of video processing” under the “Video” tab in Preference
    – Enable / Disable Multicore-rendering under the “Internal” tab in Preference
    – Turn on / off “Mute all video” under Options
    – “Clean project media” under Tools
    – Disable Resample all footages
    – I’ve added some FX, and non of them caused the problem

I’m pretty much frustraded now, the only solution left i have is to reinstall the program, which is alternative for me since it’d delete all my preset and FXs!

What is the format of the media you are editing? Post media info maybe?

The videos i’m editing are in MOV,
They were recorded from my iphone, then i copied them into my PC
I think this might be the cause too, since other formats works perfectly

Here’re 2 extra pics of my media

There you see – this is not a Vegas problem !

Your Iphone records variable framerate for exposure – try convert your recordings to mp4 constant framerate fps in Handbrake and try again with Vegas !

    best,
    Ole

Much thanks to your reply, but unfortunately that wasn’t what i was looking for yet

I’ve finished more than 20 projects with my iphone ’till now, some even more heavily edited, exchanged many times between Sony Vegas and After Effects

This is the first time it happened

Some extra info that i thought might be important:
A few weeks ago i did a CPU clean up and accidentlly plug the graphic card into the onboard CPU graphic card ( the weak on ), which leads to framedrop while playing games and lagging while editing, the preview problem also occured during this period
When i found out the issue i plug my Gtx 1050ti in again and tried to restore most the changes i’ve made when the preview problem occured

Could it be my graphic card that cause the problem ?
