  mfx files

  Vegas Pro 14 is rendering only .mfx files. I think I need .m2t files to proceed to burning a DVD and/or blueray disc.

  Actually you need MPEG2 for DVD and either MPEG2 or AVCHD for Blue-ray.

  Try using the MainConcept MPEG2 format with one of the DVD Architect templates for DVD burning, and the Sony AVC format with an AVCHD template for Blue-ray.
