Im Trying to make an intro with music… Ive got the music how i want it but… I want it to ease out instead of coming to a complete stop… Does anyone know if this is possible? If it is can you tell me how to do it?Thanks

October 12, 2009 at 6:59 pmYou can keyframe the audio level of your clip just like any other asset in AE. Just look under your clip, and then under “Audio”. You can also apply eases to audio keyframes.

Could you explain why you recommend that approach? I’m curious since my default approach is to do things without filters when possible. -

I’ve found the Stereo Mixer effect to be more reliable when using expressions on its properties. If you’re not having any problems, then I suppose that there’s no reason to not animate audio directly with Audio Levels; but know that Stereo Mixer is there as something to try if expressions and keyframes on Audio Levels aren’t doing what you think they should.
