How to Blend Frames
I am fairly new to Vegas and am trying to figure out how to “blend” each consecutive frame a little bit to give the illusion of a “smoother” frame rate without actually changing the frame rate. I’ve done this in the past using specific commands in a particular game’s console, but have never done this in Vegas itself. I have seen a lot of posts/videos about how to REMOVE blending that Vegas apparently does innately but it seems I am trying to do the opposite.
While I am recording at 60 fps, I believe sometimes this recording rate drops when there is a lot going on in the game, so even though the end result is a 60 fps media file, it appears lower in areas. Is there a way to take each frame and blend, say 10% or so, of the two surrounding frames? This introduces what some would call a “blur” effect but if it is done subtly enough it will simply make the frame rate look smoother.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
