Bending a line
Posted by Ángel Molina lópez on January 4, 2017 at 5:12 pmHi everyone:
I can’t find anything about this effect so I have to ask you. How can I bend a line as the example below while it’s moving around the comp?
Thx.

In VP? Quick answer, no. Longer answer? Noooooooo…… Yes in VP we can Distort and Deform stuff, but this type of outcome is best suited to a package that does it straight off the bat.

January 4, 2017 at 8:20 pmWell, you could take solid white, than create the line with cropping that solid white using bezier mask.
Then animate that mask using keyframes.
That could work, if you have huge lot of time and patience.
Graham is right, this is not something to do in Vegas.Best regards

January 5, 2017 at 3:16 pmI would try Boris BCC Continuum Units 3D Objects which works well within Vegas. It is a very flexible plug-in. I have been experimenting with it and they have many tutorials on their web site. Of course it would all be done with key frames but I believe it is doable.
