  Sony Vegas Audio Echo Effect

  Hi. Please teach me how to make echo effect when a music suddenly stops.

  Like in a movie/drama, when someone was suddenly informed with a bad news, the happy background music suddenly stops. But this music doesnt just stop, it has this echoing sound at the end.

  I hope you undertand what I mean, Thanks.

  Hi,

  I would use the reverb, but do not apply to the music itself.
  Separate the last beat, and apply just to it on a separate track.
  And apply the reverb on track level, not at the event level.
  Like this:
  

  This reverb setting just works for me, but you can tweak it for yourself of course 😉
