  recommendation for USB audio interface for Vegas Pro 13 in WIN10 i7 64 Bit OS Dell XPS 8900

  Hi, it’s been a long time since I posted here. Since then I finally upgraded to a Dell XPS 8900 w/32GB ram and 2GB GPU, finally a 64 bit machine! Ok, so I also upgraded from Vegas pro 10 to 13.

  I would like your recommendation for a USB audio interface with at least 2 x XLR/TRS combo inputs, 4 would be cool too. It must be compatible with the above rig and not sink it. Last time I did this (32 bit machine/Vegas Pro10) I bought a Tascam set up that the driver screwed up my OS. So I want to only hear about what works right for my rig with Vegas Pro 13.

  Minimum requirements are the ability to record to my Vegas Timeline with two XLR mics or two 1/4 inch line (TRS) inputs, phatom power for condenser mic(s) and preamps, vol controls, and headphone and monitor outputs too.

  I’m using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i 4. It has the two XLR/TRS Line inputs you require. Works fine for me on a Win 10-64-bit system.

  Thank you for the reference, I will be sure to check it out. A few years ago ProSonus was recommended do you have any thoughts on this?
