  Photo (lots of them!) from footage

  Hi.
  I’m quite noob to AE, I wonder if is it possible to freeze one frame every other or every two other (or every three others, and so on) from a footage.
  I have my footage and I apply on it the presets, under presets->behaviors, “time deviation” (I’m traslating the preset’s name from italian, maybe in English is a different preset: anyway move the footage on a path trough the time).
  Now I have my footage moving in the space.
  I want to freeze one every x (x = 1,2,3,…) frame, saving the actual attributes of the frame.
  I mean I want that frame freezed and located on the same position, at the same time.
  I can achieve the results doing a frame-by-frame animation, without using the presets, but is really long….
  Any ideas?

  I’ve do some progress in this script, but I have a lot of problems…
  Honestly, is my first script :).
  Anyway, at the moment problem is:

  I have one layer, with two effects on it.
  Then, I have a second layer.
  Now, in the first layer, the second effect use an expression to get his position: this expression is an interpolation of some values pitched from the first effect.
  My problem is that I want to take the final values of this expressions and use them to set the position of the second layer.
  I’ve tried a lot of variation (hundreds, tons of hundreds :(, gazillions of tons of hundreds ), and nothing works…

  I don’t understand why something like this doesn’t work:

  myPosition = firstLayer.effects.secondeffects.position;
  secondLayer.position.setValue(mytime,myposition);

  I think, in my trial, I’ve got every single possible error message.
