• Adobe After Effects

  AE exports/renders to different size than my spec!

  I’m going nuts here…. I have a composition in the size of 400×150 (square pixels), and whatever format and method I choose to render or export this little animation, the movie is slightly larger 478 x 180.

  Am I missing something obvious!?!

  Any help appreciated.

  Yup sure did – realized it’s simply a Quicktime X player moronics. It will automatically scale up a movie to be the minimum width so it can fit its big control bar in it…. Quicktime 7 displays it correctly.
