Vegas Pro 13 with Windows 10
I had Windows 7 and Sony Vegas Pro 13 and all was good. Recently upgrade to Windows 10, all seemed fine except when I click the external monitor button to see timeline on my big flat screen. The display is too big and the bottom corner is down on my Vegas window, blocking the top left. I looked everywhere in settings. I MAY have to go back to Win7.
Any suggestions?

No problem here with Win 10 and Vegas Pro 13. I can preview to either a 2nd monitor or a 3rd monitor which is an HDTV. Nothing is cut off.
When you say “see timeline on my big flat screen”, exactly what do you mean? Are you talking about the timeline itself or just the preview window? A screenshot would be most useful.

The top picture is my TV (external monitor)
The bottom is my PC monitor.
This is what happens when I press the “Video Preview on External Monitor” button
Since I upgraded to Win 10, it is like this. Before with Win 7 it was normal -
Let me re-word my original post,
instead of:
“when I click the external monitor button to see timeline on my big flat screen”
I meant:
“when I click the external monitor button to see the PREVIEW of my timeline on my big flat screen TV” -
SORRY to bother everyone with this, I found it!!!
In Win10, settings, display, I changed from 150% to 100% -
Glad you solved your problem. My first impression–that’s really weird. I still don’t understand why that setting would have such an effect on your main display. Just curious–did you do the upgrade or clean install?

It was the free Win10 “Upgrade”
What is odd is I still also have Vegas 9 on same system, and it did not have that problem.
