Default project length

When you start a new project, there is no “length”. When you start adding things to the timeline, you will now get “length”.

The default time line is 2 minutes, My vids are 20 sec. So I want the time line to open or change to the max of 20 sec.

When you open a saved project, the timeline will default to the length of that particular project. Be that 2 hours or 20 seconds.

Create a project with your default settings and properties, and put an empty 20-second item in it. Save with a name like “my default project.” Open that and Save As… when you want to start a new project.
