  Imported .mp4 pixelate in Vegas and remain pixelated after rendering

  I have scoured countless forums to find an answer to my infuriating predicament. I have yet to find a question that details what I am experiencing, though I have tried numerous solutions given to people with problems of a similar nature, and they’ve never worked.

  Before I import .mp4 files into Vegas they look crisp and perfect:

  

  After I’ve imported them, the preview pixelates during movement:

  

  And after rendering, the pixelation remains:

  I desperately need a solution to this! Cutting around the pixelation adds hours to my video editing time and forces me to use my second and third picks for shots.

  You’re going from a frame rate of 59.94 to 29.97 so your results don’t surprise me.
  Right click each event on your timeline, choose Properties and select Disable Resample.
  Hopefully that will fix things for you. Good luck!!

  Just tried it. It didn’t work. It behaves exactly the same.
