I can’t load the file into Sony Vegas Pro 10. How can I fix this?

    I tried using the Gspot

    Thank you for the help.

I know this may be a silly question but do you have the XviD codec installed?

[Uniqua Joyne] “Ah yes I do have it installed.”

Are you using the 64-bit version of Vegas with a 32-bit Xvid codec? That would make it not work.

It doesn’t really matter because Vegas Pro doesn’t support editing DivX or Xvid so you can stop trying. Even if you get it ro load it will never render correctly. DivX and Xvid are highly compressed delivery formats and are not meant for editing.

Use a free tool like AviDemux 2.5 to convert the video to M-JPEG which Vegas Pro can edit easily.
