    Hi,
I have a weird issue with our CS4 AE. Our users are collecting files. Puts it in a project, works on it just fine on the server. Xserver 10.4. The workstation is Leopard 10.5.8. We run a nightly backup using psync from one raid to another. Recently a raid drive failed so i turned them on to the backup drive, when doing so, users open the project file and its all messed up, saying its missing 100 or so files, and points those missing file to projects totally outside of that project folder.

Also In FCP6 users cannot import mov files into FCP. it says file not recognized on the backup. when i point them back to the main drive, they can import the files just fine. on the backup drive, if we open the qt mov file and save as. then import it, it works fine.

I’m lost. Is there a better solution for my 10tb backups nightly?

    thanks in advance!
