Never had this happen. Have imported jpegs for years with no problem even photoshoped pics saved as jpeg but now I have a group of pictures I took the main person in the photo, cut them out, turned the background black and white, then inserted the colored person back in. Then I saved the pics as jpegs. When I try to insert them into vegas I get: “warring, an error occured while opening one or more files. An error occured reading the file. make sure you have read and access to the file/folder and that it is not corrupted”. I can import the original pictures into vegas, but not the photoshopped jpegs. Any ideas? I can’t believe they are all corrupted.

Make sure they’re saved in RGB format and not CMYK as this was an issue with earlier versions of Vegas.

Thanks for the response. I had another response tell me to try to open them in microsoft paint and if they opened there they were not corrupted, so I did, and then saved them again using paint, and now they go into vegas just fine. I will take a look at the ones I did before to see if they were saved in anything other than RGB. Have a great day!
