  • Project media: editing comments, titles

In the Project Media window, clips have columns for COMMENTS and TITLES, but I haven’t found an intuitive way to add those entities.

    How does one do that?

    Thanks!

These can be added when you capture and they get saved with the media. Or you can edit them later by double-clicking on the field in the Project Media list and change things like comments. These get saved with the project but not the media. So if you use the media in another project this metadata is lost. I guess if the comments are specific to a project this make sense.

Thanks. I must have been screwing up on the Comments field: it works as expected now.

The “Title” field still doesn’t respond to take input though. I was thinking maybe it was like naming layers in AE, where you can toggle between “Names” and “Source Names”. So, if a clip HAD a title, it would be displayed rather than the file name in the timeline.

Yea, Title doesn’t seem to be settable from anywhere that I can see.
