Quality Problem
Any help would be great. I finally got the dreaded horizontal lines to disappear and now I am plagued with everything being grainy. I have changed my properties on my video from the media tab to Upper Field First. I use a HDpvr Happauge to record. And i have sony vegas 9.
I Render with:
1280-720
lower field first
59.96 frames per sec
picture quality BESTI would appreciate any help. If you guys have a vid or a forum link to instructions that would be great.

Is your original captured clip interlaced or progressive?
If it’s progressive, 1280 x 720 60p? then set your project settings this way, and render as progressive as well.
If it’s progressive in, stay that way throughout your workflow.

lol to be honest i have no idea how to tell if it is interlaced or not. But i messed around.. about 29 times and came up with this video.. If you could please take the time out of your time to look at it (1min long) I would appreciate it so maybe you could tell me some pointers on how to get better quality..

Both youtube links say video removed by user.
In Vegas, if you click on the video in the explorer or project mdeia tab, it shows the properties at the bottom of those windows, resoultion, framerate bitrate and interlaced or progressive.
What knid of camera, make and model are you using and how do you want to deliver the video? I can then give you some tips to get the best quality in that format. Danny Hays -

But it is still processing. I would love to know what your suggestions are. A check off list so to speak would be great. And i do not use a camera, I use a happauge hd pvr recorder…
