    Hi!

I’ve made a video and it needs to be featured on a website.

the trouble is, the area they’ve allowed for the video is 900 pixels wide by 285 pixels high!

    how do I crop it?

Secondly, once cropped, how am I best rendering it??

    Please help! 🙂

    Load your project into Vegas.
Set your Project Properties to 900 x 285.
Your new problem is that you now have a whole lot of blank space on both sides of your video.
If you zoom in on each clip (with either Track Motion or Pan/Crop) in an attempt to fill the frame, you’re going to start cutting off the top and/or bottom.
It’s not a decision I would want to make 🙁
The desired format for the website will determine how you’re going to render it.
