  How To Make Words Spin Like the Urban Spoon App?

  I need to make numbers countdown in a motion like the Urban Spoon iPhone app.

  The only thing that comes to mind immediately is spinning the numbers via rotation in 3D and adding a blur. I haven’t tried this yet, but I assume there’s probably a better way that someone here can share.

  make a layer or a precomp with your number(or wathever) then map them on a cylinder with cc cylinder then rotate the cylinder in transform option in cc cylinder then add a motion blur.Should do the trick without to work of doing it with 3d layer.
