HD render settings Help.
I just discovered within the past year how to render my files in HD. I use the 720 .WMV template. These files play perfectly fine when placed on Youtube. However, I recently made a DVD with the videos rendered in this format, and the playback seemed ‘slow.’ I can’t really descrive it. However, others watching the DVD told me they didn’t see any problem with the playback.
Just today, I made a 30 second render as a test. Instead of rendering as .WMV, I rendered as a MPEG (.M2T) file. Firstly, this file rendered much faster than any .WMV clip did. I had run tests before (30 secs) in the .WMV, and that took almost ten minutes, where in the .M2T render, it took maybe two.
So, my question is what should my render settings be, if I want files that will look great on the internet, but can also be placed on a standard DVD?
Thanks 🙂
