Well, I almost have a video!

I was hoping someone could help me out with some audio issues and the sound effects package that came with the Platinum Pro Pack. I just got the program installed yesterday and don’t have the time to play around that I’d like!

First, I have two shots (events) that have a tiny bit of audio in them. Visually, the shots were good, but we were not planning on using the audio. How do I take the audio out of these two clips?

Second, I’ll be adding a soundtrack (mp3) and sound effects. Do I put them all in the Project Media section? How do I save files into that section?

Third, do I do any of this in Sound Forge? And where are the 1,001 sound effects found?

    Thanks!

To delete the audio, click on the event in the timeline and press the “u” key on your keyboard. This will ungroup the audio and video streams. Now you can click the audio and press the delete key and the audio will no longer be there.

To add mp3’s and other audio, open up the folder they are in (in Windows) and drag the file to an audio track on the timeline. The same is true with the sound fx.

SoundForge does not have to be used.

The sound fx are on a separate cd I believe. I don’t have it.
