I’ve had my computer off for about a month. I recently started it up again and opened a Vegas file that I made a while back. It played fine before, but now there is some weird interlacing that shows up in the preview window where two events meet. I’ve zoomed in tight to make sure there is no overlap. Is this a video card problem, or maybe a preference that needs to be tweaked? I would appreciate any ideas or thoughts.

    Thank you,
    Dave

Having your computer off for a month (or any period of time) should have no effect. Could you get a little more detailed in your description of the problem or possibly post a screen grab. Y6ou say you notice this artifacting at “event edges” and you have zoomed in to be sure there is no overlapping. If you look at each frame before and after this “joint” do the frames show the artifacting? If so how many frames each direction does it go?
