  audio themes

  I have the cinescore plug in with ms9 platinum so I don’t have the formal interface.
  Does any one know how I direct chosen themes to just a segment, region, of the movie time line?

  Make a time selection in Vegas Movie Studio before you launch the Cinescore Studio plug-in. Cinescore Studio will base the length of the music piece on the length you selected.

  Keep in mind that it adheres to a few “rules” of music regarding beats, measures, etc, so the resulting length may not be exactly what you chose, but will be close. If the resulting audio is not exactly the length you need, you can adjust its playback rate on the VMS timeline (Ctrl+click an edge of the event and drag it longer or shorter). In most cases, the difference in length is going to so small that you’re not going to notice any distortion.
