DVDA studio / menu greater 1Gb
Newbie to vegas/DVDA – recent convert from Pinnacle studio range…
Apologies for the long post, but wanted to give all details…
I have a 2 hour video of a show, which needs to fit onto a single-layer DVD. I am happy to reduce the bit-rate, as it is only by a small amount, and quality on tests so far is not an issue. Have sorted out all the transitions/cross-fades etc – very happy with result. Now trying to prepare the ISO media.
I have 15 chapters in the show – one for each act.
I followed the tutorials, and created a menu-based project, setting the title to have two buttons – one to ‘play all’ and the other a link to a scene-selection menu. The scene selections are from markers created in VMS.
When I go to prepare I am told the disc image is 13Gb. As you can see from the image below, DVDA thinks my first menu is 7GB in size – which seems to be the original total rendered video at least twice.. My rendered file from VMS is 5.3GB…
I do have a small image on the title page, but it is only approx 200k.
So, my question is would anybody know why the title page size seems to want to include the size of my media in the menu size…
Many thanks for any pointers/help
