Is there an easy way to move the cursor, relative to my current position, in the timeline/trimmer by inputting a number value. In Avid, whichever window I’m working in (Timeline or Source/Trimmer), I could simply input, say, +25, Enter, and the cursor would jump forward 25 frames. Thanks, Bill.

Yup. Both the Trimmer and the timeline have three boxes in their bottom right corners. First box is the cursor position, second box is the selection end position (if a selection exists), third box is selection length. Double-click any of these to edit them, and Vegas will reflect your change on the timeline (or Trimmer, as the case may be). Just as you want, +25 moves ahead 25 frames; -25 moves back 25 frames. 25 moves to the 25th frame. Etc.

Thanks Rob, works just like you say, cool. When I was playing around earlier I was entering the +/- key after the number, which didn’t work, and I was in the wrong box. Thanks for setting me straight. Bill.
