Puzzling Vegas Behavior
I am an intermediate Vegas Pro user. This only meaning that I can basically find my way around Vegas.
There is something though, that is troubling and irritating me pretty bad.
This is the scenario: I create a file from a number of M2T short clips, some audio files, etc., nothing too complicated. I do keep all files on an external hard drive just for vegas. Let’s say that I SAVE AS and close the file away for the night… Next morning, when I try to open the file, it opens but starts rendering at the same time. If I stop it, I can see the video but the audio won’t work… Needless to say that once it does that, I am not able to move the short clips around anymore because it has converted everything to its own track (video and audio). What am I doing wrong and what should I do to avoid getting to that stage? Yes, I would like to be able to have as many active video tracks as I want and to render ONLY when I tell the program to render. Please help me solve this situation. It ain’t the end of western civilization as we know it, but it is definitely getting on my nerves… Thanks.Haroldo
