  Delete audio without deleteing video

  How do I delete the audio without deleting the video on a clip?
  I can’t find answer anywhere.. I am using Vegas Movie Studio 8

  Select the audio. Press “U”. Press “Delete”.

  Right Click the audio and choose Group, Remove From. Then you can change/delete each file separately.

  It is. Basically the “U” will UNGROUP as Dave mentioned then they’re two separate pieces. You can also go into the preferences and set the option to let cut/copy/delete effect only the selected piece instead of both as well. That would also be in the manual.

  You can also delete the audio track without ungrouping. Danny Hays
