  DVDA 5 only avail bundled

  Sony will not sell me DVD Architect 4.5/5 as a standalone. I have a version of Vegas Pro 8 (CD only) that came unbundled with DVDA. I have been using a 30-day trial of DVDA Pro 5, and wanted to buy it at the end of the trial. But you can’t. Some marketing wizard at Sony came up with this coy carrot-and-stick ploy to force one to buy the full bundled version of Vegas. Not a smart move in this economy. Can anyone recommend another DVD program that will dance with Vegas Pro encoding? If not, this is the straw across the camel’s back. Maybe Final Cut? Maybe Premiere?
