  Can hang software ALL the time

  I am trying out Sony Vegas 9.0 Platinum and all I have been able to do is get the software to hang. I watch a clip that I captured via HDSplit. When I choose File->Exit the app hangs.

  When I capture with SV then watch then exit – same thing.

  This is a new PC running Windows XP SP3.
  Ideas?
