???what are these effects???
Okay, i’ve been up and down, all around the internet trying to get an naswer to this question but still nothing all that useful except knowing what program it came from…sony vegas, pro or not i can’t tell.

well for this clip there the very begining is something that I was looking for, the creator uses the effect where whe takes and crops part of one vid and puts it over another, and im not refering to fading, she litterally cuts around the form of rukia (the girl holding the ribbon) and places a moving back ground behind it… What kind of effect would you call that and where can I find it?? and also from 2:44 -2:49 she adds a glowing outline to the body of rukia though it isn’t in the original anime (trust me, i checked) and then there’s 4 comepletely seperate videos in the background…Youtube vid.
for the last clip the first 9 seconds are the same thing as the first seconds of the second clip i was talking about, but i can handle finding the actual background just not how she cropped the video like that. 1:04-1:08 as well baffles me…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXuL1KotpfU Youtube vid.
on seconds 2-4 of this video the creator uses a still image, hollows out the frame that she’s holding and makes it into a tiny tv kind of… throughout the entire vid as well there are hearts, animation chappi bunny heads, and the anime astract for when your angry…random junk that i don’t get how to put into a vid. seconds 20-22 are interesting but that may tie in to one of the effects ive already brought up, i dont know, you tell me.
so is this specific enough??? ha, i sure hope so… I’m sorry im bothering people with this much informatin in one post but I REALLY want to learn how to make interesting, eye catching videos like this, so if you can help, much obliged!!

These aren’t “effects.” These are anime. The characters are drawn with alpha channels, then blended using compositing in the first one.
I didn’t find what you were describing in the second file nor the third, but in all of them, they’re anime, which means they can easily draw in whatever they wish to draw, and/or use masks, transparency, etc.
It’s quite easy to generate a mask that has a transparency channel, build it in Photoshop or other editor. Bring that mask into Vegas, and put your video beneath it. It will then shwo through the mask.Douglas Spotted Eagle
