  Can’t render as .MPEG

  I love Sony Vegas and am currently using Pro 8.0 but I’ve been having a problem. Before when I used it I could render videos as .MPEG but today I went render as MPEG and the option isn’t there. These are the only formats I can render as:

  -*.aa3
  -*.aif
  -*.flac
  -*.mp3
  -*.ogg
  -*.mov
  -*.rm
  -*.wav
  -*.pca
  -*.w64
  -*.avi
  -*.wav
  -*.wma
  -*.wmv

  Did you install DVD Architect? If not, install it. The mpg encoder is tied to that program I believe.

  I have the same probelm. Theres no option to render my video as mpg. I really need help, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, install dvd architect like you suggested, but to no avail. Help anyone?
