Always Blurry…
I’m just learning Vegas Pro 8, but everything is always blurry.
I made a small video before, and the text came out all blurry.
Whenever I add pictures to the time line, it is blurry. When I try to make it smaller and move it to the corner or something, it is blurry too.
EVERY TIME I add text, that is blurry as well…How can I fix this?

Is it blurry in the preview window. What is your setting? Make it good and you should see an improvement. Even when it looks blurry in preview lower settings it will render out clear. That said the titler has always been a sore point but they should not be blurry. Some people recomend setting title resolution at 1480 x 960.

I’ll try out the setting thing. But yes, it is blurry in the preview window, AND when I render it. The pictures are unviewable because of the blurriness, and sometimes the text is too.

Is the picture and/or text in motion or static?

Make sure you have a decent video card and all your drivers are in order. NLE is extremely demanding on all resources, your video card should be good quality, bare, bare minimum of 128 MB I just upgraded to 512 what a difference. Minimum of 1 GB ram in the system. Minimum 2.8 GHZ computer processor.

I am not sure about the motion or static. I just hit add text. And same with the picture, I just drag them in.
My video card is good. nvidia geforce 256 I am pretty sure. 1gig of ram and 2.8 ghz…. -
Again, is your preview setting and render setting AT least good or best not preview or lower?
