    Hi

When I select a menu button in DVDA Pro 4.5 the hilite obscures the underlying thumbnail image. Is there a way to convert the selection hilite to a simple colored frame around the thumbnail? I’ve spent lots of time trying to create mask layers and generally mangling things in PS with no success after importing these masks into DVDA.

    Any advice/pointers greatly appreciated

Look at Vol 2 #6 of my newsletters. You should be able to create any menuing mask you like.

Thanks for the pointer! I found that if I create a mask in PS, select it, and save the selection (it is saved as an alpha channel in PS), then the psd file works fine as a mask in DVDA!

I guess I’m still puzzled as to the 2 highlight properties, one for a menu, another for a button. What would you want an entire menu highlight for?

    Thanks again
