Hi I want to upload a film to a short film site and their maximum is 100 MB, well my 10 minute short is 500 MB MPEG-2 so there is a problem here, what is the best format for uploading to reduce file size……….what tradeoffs..thanks.

I would probably go with Flash but Vegas does not yet render to it. Render to an DVavi to get a good possible quality and then use some flash encoder and play with the settings.

    How about WMV?

WMV indeed works excellent! I rendered 12 minutes to 70 MB and it doesn’t look bad at all especially if I lighten it up and select the best rendering quality in the CUSTOM button. Yes, WMV does it.
