Rotoscoping large scenes?
Hey, I’ve always wondered how they got effects composition behind large scenes where they can’t use a green screen, such as a bridge or such so I recently saw this on studio daily

there’s a video if your scroll down, from 4:00 onwards is a perfect example of what I’m talking about, I’m wondering did they have to rotoscope all the people and things out to be able to composite those CGI effects behind them, or is there some magical other way they did this?
