Is there a way to inverse the event pan crop resizing method?
I severely dislike the fact that things seem backward. To make the clip smaller you have to drag the corners out farther and vice versa.
I understand the philosophy in doing it this way, it just isn’t as workable I don’t think. I like the After Effects idea of sizing the clip down by dragging the corners to make it smaller. Then positioning it where you want.

Any way to do that in Vegas 7?

Track Motion works the opposite way.

Pan/Crop makes perfect sense if you think about it, though. You’re “cropping” down to a smaller area of the image and it still will fill up the full screen with that smaller area.

Hmm I’ll have to try that.
It does make sense I just always have to flip back into that mindset.
In some ways I just wish Vegas did cropping/scaling the way AE does.
