Scrolling Titles EFX – No speed control?
I see no place to adjust the SPEED of scrolling credits! This seems really odd! I mean this seems the MOST basic aspect of scrolling titles that you would want to control!

GOT IT! When you right click on properties, you CAN adjust the playback rate of the scroll! Whew, that’s certainly not an intuitive place to put this adjustment!

One way, as you discovered, is changing the playback rate as you did or via a CTRL-Resize.
Another way would be via a velocity envelope.
The correct way would be to open the generated media and change the “Length” field to be the proper length you need. Make the “Length” larger, and the scroll will take longer. Of course you need to resize the event to match that new length.

Hmmm very interesting but I don’t think Vegas studio has velocity envelopes, please confirm.

I believe you are correct. I think Velocity Envelopes is only in the full version. However, it *IS* another option in the full version. Personally, I like the correct option – changing the “Length” in the event.
