  VST Audio plugins.

  Hi, I have just concluded a huge number of back and forth emails with the VASST site. NONE of their listed audio plugins will work with Sony Studio – They are only to be used for the VEGAS professional product line which was confusing enough. So WHO carries real-time audio VST plugins for the Studio line. The preferences tab has a tab for VST PLUGINS. Who the heck has these? Thanks again for all help……..

  Whew as usual, found the answer to this one there’s thousands of VST plug-ins out there, what Sony gives you is fine, OK, this question:

  Using Sony audio plugins, I made changes, and it saves it as wave “take” files. HOW do I discard ALL of these TAKE files and revert to what was in the original MPEG file?

  ALSO Pinnacle uninstall left behind Audio plugin “Footprints” that show up but CANNOT load. How do I get rid of the PINNACLE VST footprints? IS this in the registry?

  Thank you, and I’m making awesome progress. Is there a FREE audio editor I can install?

  If you had the full version, you could just run a script that does that. In your case, right-click the event, choose “Take”, and then “Delete…”. From there, pick the ones you want to delete.

  I’m sure it probably IS in the registry somewhere.

  Hmmmm….I deleted them ALL and it left me with an EMPTY audio event. Now what? Do I need to insert the MPEG clip all over again? MUST be a way to re-point audio to the original MPEG file…HOW to do it?

  Oooops never mind, I accidentally deleted the original take, it did NOT have a wave extension…..did an undo, and was able to delete four and leave the original. WORKED. THANKS.

  Is there a FREE external audio editor I can run through platinum studio?

  Also, I notice there’s a pro edition of this product! Whew, the platinum consumer version is so massive already, do you really NEED more?
