Convert Trial Version to Full — with purchased SN?
My workflow was a bit strange here. I didn’t plan ahead very carefully and I’ve gotten myself into a small mess!
I downloaded a trial of Vegas and began using it to see if it was the right choice for a big project. (Professional, real budget, etc) I kept going with it and liked the results so much that I purchased the program from Amazon.com. (Instead of registering the program I had on my drive- ooops!)
Now, suddenly– I have only 15 days left on the trial and a SERIOUS amount of work done. Is it possible to uninstall the trial and install the purchased program without losing the .veg files I created? OR– is there a way to use the license I’ve legitimately purchased on the computer I’m using?
I’d probably purchase another license if there is any doubt! I really don’t need two, but I cannot lose the work I’ve done- period.

Just enter the serial number in the installed copy (assuming it’s the same version (i.e. Vegas 7 key in Vegas 7 or Vegas 6 key in Vegas 6 etc…).
If it doesn’t ask upon startup for a key, try going to Help – Enter Your Serial Number…
