    newbie help,
I am very familiar with FCP and Avid edit systems, and the new job I have is using vegas to edit a large number of wmv files for streaming(both video and audio). QUESTION: the plug-ins for audio, I want to apply a simple noise reduction filter to cut out hiss when I need to, but after going through the manual I don’t really see a way to preview what the plug-in is doing.
I know this is basic, but is there anyone who can walk me through application of a audio plug in to specific track? and then hear what it is doing?
    Thanks In advance!
    Tom

Any real-timeplug-in you apply to the track, event, etc. should be audible as you play the timeline.

For Non-realtime FX such as the Sony noise reduction (available separatley), you use the play and stop buttons in the FX dialog box.
