  • Using Regions to Delete Large Sections of Clips

I’m working in Vegas Movie Studio 6.

I am customizing a video for several people who were in it. I want delete some large sections of clips. I thought I could set these into Regions and then delete them. But for some reason, I can’t do this. I right clicked on the Region markers, clicked delete, but the only thing that disappears is the Region markers. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Regions won’t be that handy for that function. Select the event(s) you want to delete from, drag a time selection and hit the delete key.
If you want to close the resulting gap, then hit Ctrl/Shift/F for post-ripple.
