  scrolling text

  I am sure that this has been discussed before, and I am probably just over looking something, but how can I make text scroll across the bottom of the screen, like a stock ticker or something? I am using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0. Thanks for any help you can give me.

  Add a standard text generated media. Type the text as on LOOOONG line and make sure it’s all in the proper font/font size.

  Now go to the “Positioning” tab. Change the “Y” position until it is in the proper location on the screen (i.e. somewhere in the lower portion)

  The next step is to make it scroll. Change the “X” position so that the first letter is just off the right edge of the screen. Now move the cursor on the Generated Media timeline to the end of that timeline. Next change the “X” position so that the last letter is just off the left edge of the screen.

  When you play this, it will now scroll across the bottom of the screen.
