What do you use for special effects? (explosions, smoke, fire, etc..)
I know there are specific forums for many effects applications, but I felt that if I asked this question in let’s say, the EffectsLabDV forum, that everyone there would recommend EffectsLabDV, etc.
So, what do you guys (and gals) use?

EffectsLabDV is a good option. Another is Particle Illusion. Places like https://www.artbeats.com/ also have these that could be keyed over your video. i.e. https://www.artbeats.com/prod/search.php?pg=1&act=Search&kw=fire&ct=
